A special guest joins us this week on Lost in Criterion.

We're discussing of Hiroshi Inagaki's Samurai Trilogy (1954-1956) over the next few weeks, kicking off with the Oscar winning Part I: Musashi Miyamoto. Tishiro Mifune stars in the title role, and he's quickly becoming my favorite actor that I feel ashamed for only knowing about because of this project.

Donovan Hill, an old friend who's father has inundated him with Samurai film and literature since an inappropriately young age, joins us for all three episodes as the closest thing we have to an expert on the subject. We like having more voices. If you see a movie coming up that you think you'd love to join our podcast discussion for, please contact us in the comments section, or just talk there. In any case, listen away at LostinCriterion.com and on iTunes.
