This week we're Lost in Japanese folkloric ghost stories with Masaki Kobayashi's Kwaidan, his 1964 anthology adaptation of traditional tales as collected by Lafcadio Hearns. This film is beautiful and eerie, though by no means what we usually think of when we think of a horror film.
