George Washington Slipped Here

November 5, 2015 Adam Glass

Ok, the pun was more important than accurately representing plot.

George Washington is the 2000 debut film from writer/director David Gordon Green and is super depressing. And beautiful. A film about regret and seeking redemption, about the ebb and flow of life in a small, dying town. It's so emotionally draining, you guys, and great because of it.

And it's this week's Lost in Criterion.
