This week we watch Walter Matthau attempt to burn down the CIA because someone offended him. This, of course, gives Pat and me opportunity to discuss American intelligence policy, so as, um, be prepared?
Ronald Neame's Hopscotch (1980) is probably the funniest movie in which Ned Beatty attempts to kill Walter Matthau, but what would we expect from a movie adapted from and co-written by the author of Death Wish? There is so much absurd going on here and I love every second of it.
Hear Pat and I love a thing on this week's Lost in Criterion.
